How it works

Enter your actual planning assumptions, review the estimate, and keep it current as plans change.

  1. Choose the celebration type and enter Expected guests.
  2. Select the Serving size you intend to offer and enter an Extra serving buffer percentage.
  3. Click Update Estimate and review the suggested serving requirement.
  4. Confirm slice size and the actual capacity of the selected cake with your baker. Account for other desserts and guests who will not have cake before finalizing the order, then update the estimate if needed.
  5. Use Print / Save PDF to open the PDF preview of the current estimate. Review the report, then choose Download PDF to keep a copy or Print for a paper copy.
  6. Use Save Progress to keep these inputs in your planner account and check for the success confirmation. Sign in or create an account if prompted; revisit Saved Progress in your Planner Dashboard to continue. Reset returns the calculator to its default inputs.
