Step-by-step guide

How it works

Enter your actual planning assumptions, review the estimate, and keep it current as plans change.

Choose your celebration type and enter Expected guests.
Enter Venue / location and the fixed costs for décor and rentals, entertainment, photo and video, and any other fixed costs. Enter Food per guest separately so it is multiplied by the guest count only once.
Set Contingency (%) to reserve a planning cushion, then click Update Estimate.
Review the estimated total and per-guest cost. Replace assumptions with quotes as you receive them, include overlooked charges in the appropriate field, and recalculate when the guest count changes.
Use Print / Save PDF to open the PDF preview of the current estimate. Review the report, then choose Download PDF to keep a copy or Print for a paper copy.
Use Save Progress to keep these inputs in your planner account and check for the success confirmation. Sign in or create an account if prompted; revisit Saved Progress in your Planner Dashboard to continue. Reset returns the calculator to its default inputs.
