How it works

Enter your actual planning assumptions, review the estimate, and keep it current as plans change.

  1. Choose the celebration type and Vendor service, then review your contract to understand existing charges.
  2. Enter Eligible service subtotal ($), excluding amounts you do not intend to use as the basis for the gratuity.
  3. Enter Service charge already included (%) and your chosen Optional gratuity (%), then click Update Estimate.
  4. Review the amounts separately. Confirm with the vendor whether a service charge is distributed as a gratuity; do not assume the two are interchangeable. This is an optional planning estimate, and payments are arranged directly with the vendor.
  5. Use Print / Save PDF to open the PDF preview of the current estimate. Review the report, then choose Download PDF to keep a copy or Print for a paper copy.
  6. Use Save Progress to keep these inputs in your planner account and check for the success confirmation. Sign in or create an account if prompted; revisit Saved Progress in your Planner Dashboard to continue. Reset returns the calculator to its default inputs.
